“Washington Apple Health for Kids” is affordable health insurance for children in Washington State
Washington Apple Health for Kids provides medical, dental, vision and mental health benefits to children under age 19 through the Medicaid and S-CHIP programs. There are no deductibles or co-pays. The insurance is free or low cost depending on your family’s gross monthly income and is available to both citizens and non-citizen children.
Your child cannot have private health insurance and the Apple Health for Kids low cost coverage at the same time. If the private health insurance is ending soon they may be eligible. For more information or to discuss your child’s eligibility, please call Apple Health for Kids at 1-877-543-7669.
