Child Development

Mother & child holding ABC puzzle game

Children grow and develop quickly during the first years of their lives. As a parent, you are the most important person in your child’s life. You notice when your child smiles for the first time, rolls over, sits, walks and begins to talk. These moments mean that your child is learning!

Use the information on these pages to help you recognize the developmental stages your child is going through and learn activities to promote healthy development.
